Specifications and what it does in the paddock
The proven workhorse of Australian spray drones. The DJI Agras T50 pairs a 40 L spray tank with the stability of coaxial twin rotors and dual phased-array radar, covering around 17 hectares an hour while tracking terrain your boom sprayer will never reach.
Spray, spread, repeat
- 40 L spray tank at 16 L/min with the standard dual atomising nozzles, 24 L/min with the four-nozzle upgrade, droplets adjustable 50–500 μm
- 75 L spreader hopper (optional): around 50 kg of urea or seed at up to 108 kg/min across an 8 m swath, swapped on tool-free in minutes
- ~17 ha/hour: what real Queensland cotton customers report at 20 L/ha, with 130 ha days
- 4–11 m spray width with rotor downwash that drives droplets under the canopy for coverage a helicopter can't match
Stable where it's steep
- Front + rear active phased-array radar and binocular vision, terrain following and obstacle avoidance on steep country, day or night
- Coaxial twin rotors: redundancy, wind stability, and less torsional strain on the airframe
- RTK ±10 cm accuracy: no striping, no overlap, prescription-map ready
- IP67-rated core components built for wash-down after chemical work
All-day battery cycle
The DB1560 battery (30 Ah, warranted to 1,500 cycles) charges in 9–12 minutes, with three batteries you fly one, charge one, and stage one, continuously. Charge from mains via the charging station or in the paddock with a 9 kW+ generator.
Licensing
The T50 sits in CASA's medium RPA category: RePL plus T50 type rating for your own property, add a ReOC for contract work. Our Compliance Service walks you through every step.
