A drone crew that never sleeps. DJI Dock 3 is a drone-in-a-box: the Matrice 4D series aircraft lives inside, launches on schedule or on demand, flies its mission, lands itself, and recharges in 27 minutes, all controlled from a browser anywhere in the world. No pilot on site, around the clock, in weather from −30°C to 50°C.

Unattended operations, done properly

• Remote everything: launch, fly, land and recharge through DJI FlightHub 2: scheduled missions, automated routes, change detection, live streaming, and a virtual cockpit with AI detection of people and vehicles
• 27-minute charging (15%→95%) with climate-controlled cabin, near-continuous mission cycles
• First DJI dock you can vehicle-mount: bolt it to a ute or trailer, reposition, recalibrate from the cloud, and fly (vehicle stationary during flight)
• Up to 25 km transmission with the D-RTK 3 Relay, ~10 km effective operating radius from a fixed site

Built for the outdoors, permanently

• IP56-rated station operating −30°C to 50°C with compressor air-conditioning heating and cooling the cabin
• Integrated weather station: wind, rainfall, temperature, humidity and water-immersion detection decide when it's safe to fly
• Built-in RTK base station and internal + external 1080p security cameras
• 4+ hour backup battery rides out power outages and brings the aircraft home

Choose your aircraft

Dock 3 flies the Matrice 4D series, pick the sensor set that matches the mission (aircraft sold in the configurations above):

• Matrice 4D: triple RGB cameras (20MP wide with mechanical shutter, 48MP medium tele, 48MP tele) with laser rangefinder. The pick for mapping, surveying, and construction monitoring.
• Matrice 4TD: adds a 640×512 radiometric thermal camera (super-res to 1280×1024) and NIR auxiliary light. The pick for security patrol, public safety, night operations and asset inspection.

Both aircraft are IP55-rated, fly up to 54 minutes, and can also be flown manually with an RC Plus 2 Enterprise controller.

Getting one running

A dock is a deployment, not a parcel, site assessment, mounting, connectivity, CASA approvals for automated operations, and FlightHub 2 setup all matter. We handle commissioning end to end, from first site visit to your first scheduled mission. Add the D-RTK 3 Relay for long-range sites, the Cellular Dongle 2 for 4G backup, and the vehicle gimbal mount for mobile deployment.
